It's a new year. I am happy AF it is a new year.
I took a much needed break from the office and shop over the Christmas break. My fucking kids got stuck at home longer than expected due to the ever changing restrictions. That was a challenge. Add to it the blistering cold temperatures we experienced here in Alberta. Equaled INSANITY. I have to say a huge KUDOS to anyone who homeschools or is doing online schooling with their kids. I am in awe of you all. I love my monsters, I do. But I need them in school. I can only listen to stories about Minecraft, Marvel Superheroes, DC Villians, Lord of the Rings, and so on and so on, for so long before I lose my shit. And don't pretend you are any different. Let's not lie to each other now. Just because you want someone to leave you alone for period of time, does not mean you don't love them with your whole heart. I think it means you love them so much that you would rather have space than end up in jail for murder. That's just me. And if any of this offends you, I don't think we can be friends. You should stop reading and move on.
If you are still reading it means you have a sense of humor that is a kin to mine. And I think we could be friends (if we aren't already). It is 2pm on a Thursday, which means in just a short little while my monsters will be home from school. If you don't already know, they are 3 years (almost to the fucking day) a part. Both boys! Both equally obsessed with lego and video games! Both equally annoying to each other! Both super cute and sweet, you know, when they want to be. Both completely different and yet the same! It is definitely one of those "how you thought it would be" and "how it really is" situations. I thought 2 boys would be like super easy. They would do everything together and be inseparable. It's not like that at all! I hear "I hate you", " you are the worst brother ever". "I am never playing with you again", and lots of screaming. My favorite saying at these moments is "have kids they said, it will be amazing". It sure is. Right?
Enough about my insanity. Business news!! We (I say we, but it's just me!!) hade added some new coffee mug designs. And I am working on more. Lots more sweary, sassy ones. I am wanting to do an apparel line but struggle with what 3 or 4 designs I should start with. Definitely a sweay one, a momlife one, maybe a kindness one. I am not sure though. If you have some suggestions, please share them in the comments. With everyone and their dog getting into apparel and now sublimation these days, I need to find my niche. I know that swear words and Yellowstone will be a part of it. I want to add a ladies apparel line to it as well. We (this time I mean me and my hubby) have some new ideas for some wood home decor products. I am very excited to get him to build some new pieces for the store. Stay tuned for that. Oh and the store. I really have some work to do in there before we open for REAL. Umm am I crazy for doing all this? No. Probably. Most definitely. Meh oh well. LOL
I promise, I will try to post my next blog next month and not 8 months later. I did have one started in September, but I accidentally deleted it. You can imagine the F bombs that flew that day. My goal is to write one every month with updates on projects and life with my monsters.
